ROUNDABOUT TENTATIVELY OPEN

Details:
Traffic will begin to utilize portions of Valpo's roundabout as construction continues on the intersection and surrounding roadways. The roundabout, scheduled to be completed in May 2008, was designed to transform the awkward "triangle" intersection at Lincolnway/Sturdy/LaPorte into a safer, more efficient intersection.

TURKEY DINNER & J.JAY BROOK

Details:
The Village Park Enrichment Center at Banta is having a traditional turkey dinner and entertainment on Friday, November 9 starting at 5:30 p.m.. The menu consists of roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable medley, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, and pumpkin pie.

Entertainment is provided by J.Jay Brook. As a dynamic, international singer, J.Jay enjoys performing for senior citizens with the music they enjoy and his charismatic showmanship.

Tickets are $7 for Village Park members and $8 for guests. For reservations and more information, contact the Village Park office at (219) 462-1301.
