Are you looking for a place to go sledding or ice skating when the weather turns cold and there is snow on the ground? Look no further than our Park Department! Supervised times will vary on the weather conditions. Areas will open, dependent upon weather, from December 2 to Mid March, 2008.
Locations for SLEDDING, TUBING, & TOBOGGANING: Forest Park/Discovery Cottage & Rogers-Lakewood Park.
Locations for ICE SKATING: Tower Park @ Franklin Street & Evans Avenue.

Details:
Traffic will begin to utilize portions of Valpo's roundabout as construction continues on the intersection and surrounding roadways. The roundabout, scheduled to be completed in May 2008, was designed to transform the awkward "triangle" intersection at Lincolnway/Sturdy/LaPorte into a safer, more efficient intersection.
