Join the fun, food and festivities at the Spring Valley Buffet Benefit at Restaurante don Quijote, Sunday, December 9 from noon to 6pm. This annual event is sponsored by don Quijote and the Valparaiso High School Spanish Club. Live music, silent auction and raffles will take place throughout the day. Don Quijote donates all of the food and staff time to put on the event; the Spanish Club students sell tickets, find the silent auction items and assist serving, clearing tables and running the event.
This year’s event comes at an important time of the year for Spring Valley Shelter. Spring Valley has served more clients this year than in any other year. 28-families at a time can call the shelter home this holiday season. This events and individuals’ contributions provide the services, programs and facility to meet the needs of our current residents – more than half of whom are children, school-aged and younger - and the hundreds of others we have served this year.
